About Zitlit
A home for indie stories, smart blurbs, and authors who want their work to be seen.
What Zitlit offers authors
Zitlit is built for indie authors and small presses. You can showcase your books, blurbs, and cover art without paying for placement or ads. Your core tools are free:
- Book Upload Template – keep your cover, blurb, genre, formats, and links together.
- Author Profile – tell readers who you are, why you write, and what your vibe is.
- Let’s Get Started & account tools – manage your books and profile in one place.
Our goal is simple: help you present your work clearly and beautifully, so readers can discover the stories they’ll love.
Zitlit includes an optional AI blurb helper that can:
- Reword or tighten the blurb you already wrote.
- Suggest alternative versions for different retailers or audiences.
- Help translate blurbs into other languages.
You stay in control at all times: AI suggestions are just that – suggestions. You choose what to use, edit, or ignore.
What’s allowed on Zitlit
Zitlit is open to a wide range of books and genres. We welcome:
- Fiction and non-fiction in most genres (romance, sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, horror, memoir, etc.).
- Indie projects, small press titles, and backlist titles you retain the rights to promote.
- Experimentation – cross-genre, niche, and unusual projects are all welcome.
